Our Approach

Our Approach

Our player-centered practices are both more fun and more developmental than any other training method. There are NO LAPS, NO LINES, and NO LECTURES! Our training is modeled after the methods used to develop the best players in the world, combining aspects of street soccer, futsal, and professional development academies to maximize individual and team skill development while building a life-long love of soccer. All practices feature an emphasis on building a foundation of dribbling, 1v1 moves under pressure, shooting/finishing,, combination passing, and defending skills. Players immediately apply those skills in highly competitive 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 matches or skills games.

Players learn best by playing and will have a ball at their feet or opponent in front of them more than any other model. Since we have an individual emphasis, MPA practices are also a great supplement to a player’s existing team practices, where most clubs emphasize team tactics and winning, short-changing player development over time.

MPA develops confident and creative players through fun and competition

MPA developed players and coaches will lead on the field and in their communities

MPA Club Values:

  • Player-Centered: MPA develops all players to achieve their potential
  • Growth-Minded: MPA players and coaches recognize that hard work and failure lead to growth. Our training asks players to push beyond their current comfort level and recognize that today’s mistakes lead to tomorrow’s success. By teaching MPA players how to set high goals and achieve them, this mindset serves MPA players off the field, in school and in life.
  • Confidence-Building: MPA coaches train and support our players to excel on and off the field.
  • Competitive: MPA players develop through competition. By trying and failing in our highly competitive practice environment, players are prepared for any game-day situation.
  • Community-oriented: MPA is about more than a sports. We are a family and community of players and coaches who build relationships for life.
  • Leadership: MPA coaches and players are continually challenged to grow as leaders, on and off the field
